Extension Silviculture and Invasive Species Position
The Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Clemson University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, permanent, tenure-track Extension Silviculture and Invasive Species position (25% research, 75% extension) located at the Belle W. Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science in Georgetown, South Carolina. The candidate will be expected to develop a strong extension and research program centered on forest resource management and invasive species. An important component of the position is developing and delivering effective extension programs to private forest landowners in the state. Candidates may also be asked to develop and teach a graduate distance education course in silviculture or invasive species management.
