This webinar session will discuss the learning outcomes of the Woodland Steward Series program, share what it means to participate in the program from a landowner's perspective, provide an introduction to and demonstrate the Woodland Steward Series curriculum, and introduce you to Woodland Steward Series web resources.


AUBURN - Jim Shepard, professor and associate director of the Forest and Wildlife Research Center at Mississippi State University, has been named dean of Auburn University's School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences, effective Jan. 3.


BLACKSBURG, Va., Aug. 24, 2010 – Thomas R. Fox of Christiansburg, Va., professor of forestry in Virginia Tech’s College of Natural Resources and Environment, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for research and teaching at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago, Chile.


The conference, co-hosted by the American Forest Foundation (AFF) and the World Resources Institute (WRI), will be held in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina on June 23rd and 24th, 2010.


J. Michael Kelly will replace Gregory N. Brown September 1st.
