The Georgia Prescribed Fire Council (GPFC) will host their annual statewide meeting on September 30th. It will focus on addressing critical issues for prescribed fire practitioners and advocates. Featured talks include: “2021 Prescribed Fire Activity and New Online Permitting,” and “Smoke Management Guide for Southeastern Landowners”. There will also be a drip torch giveaway. Continuing forestry education (CFE) and master timber harvester (MTH) credits will be available. The event will be virtual and free for all attendees.
