Videos Highlight the Impact of Virginia Forest Landowner Education Program
Virginia Cooperative Extension has produced 4 landowner impact videos highlighting the importance of the Virginia Forest Landowner Education Program (VFLEP) by telling its story from the point of view of landowners who have benefited from its services.
As part of an effort to tell the story of how Virginia Extension benefits landowners, the forest industry, and the public, the Virginia Forest Landowner Education Program (VFLEP), an initiative organized by Virginia Cooperative Extension and Virginia Tech , has produced 4 high-quality impact videos. The videos highlight 4 landowners, one from each of Virginia’s 4 Extension Districts, who have worked with the District Extension foresters through the VFLEP program. They were shot on site and include interviews with the landowners as well as impressive footage that captures how they live and work on their lands.
The videos received funding from Virginia Cooperative Extension with support from its Director, Ed Jones, and were shot and edited by Priya Jaishanker, videographer at Virginia Tech's College of Natural Resources for Extension efforts, and supervised by Jennifer Gagnon, coordinator of VFLEP.
