Technology Transfer (TT) Specialist joins Southern Center for Urban Forestry

On Monday, October 31, Eric A. Kuehler joined the Center.

Mr. Kuehler is currently acquainting himself with the workings of the Urban Forestry South website.

Eric received his MS in Plant Physiology from Texas A&M; his Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Dallas.

He previously worked for the Forest Service in Pineville, LA  (SRS-4111) as a support scientist for plant physiology research. Eric has been active with the Pineville tree board and also with the Louisiana Urban Forest Council. During the past 2 years he has done consulting work in tree preservation, tree restoration and general tree health.

Eric and his family will continue to reside in Louisiana until early 2006. From that location, he will assist with the Forest Service's U&CF hurricane recovery for Mississippi and Louisiana. In addition, he will provide TT support for other projects that support state U&CF programs in the southern region.
