Invasive Plants Taking Over Florida

This fun interactive workshop is designed to engage participants. Unlike some trainings that are offered at the extension office that are only open to professionals that control invasive plants as part of their job, this training is open to the public. There will be a short lecture followed by hands on inspection of fresh plant samples. Homeowners will learn to recognize invasive plants and the threat they pose to local ecosystems. Basic control strategies will also be discussed.
