This web-based synchronous program will cover 8 modules over 12 weeks and include resources and materials that you can access any time. Forestry and natural resource Extension professionals from across the country have joined together to create this program to share information that will help a new Extension specialist succeed. This program will provide an opportunity for learning from early-career peers as well as more experienced Extension specialists to share their insights and knowledge with the “newbies” and help them more quickly learn and understand the issues, skills and social theory related to Extension.
Funding for this program has been provided by USDA National Institutes of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Renewable Resources Extension Act (RREA) Capacity Grant, Award number 2016-46401-25871.
