The 17th Central Hardwood Forest Conference will encompass topics related to the research and management of forest ecosystems in the Central Hardwood Region in the eastern United States. array('c', 'Submission of Abstracts:Deadline for oral presentation abstract is August 31, 2009.Deadline for poster presentation abstract is January 11, 2010.Please email your abstract electronically to Dr. Songlin Fei at CHFC2010@gmail.com.Please put “CHFC Submission – Your Lastname” in the subject of your email, and include the following required information in the body of the email (email attachments not accepted): (1) type of submission – Oral Presentation or Poster, (2) title of the submission, (3) the author(s) and their affiliations, (4) corresponding author’s mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and email address, and (5) abstract (250 words or less).Publication:The Proceedings will be published as a USDA Forest Service General Technical Report on CD by the USDA Forest Service Northern Research Station. The Proceedings will contain refereed papers from authors giving oral presentations and extended abstracts from authors presenting posters, and will be published six months after the meeting.
