2004-2005 Request for Proposals (RFP)

Learning Module Development for The National Learning Center for Private Forest and Range Landowners

(Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES) and the University of Tennessee Extension, Department of Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries)

The Advisory Board for The National Learning Center for Private Forest and Range Landowners, Forestandrange.org, is requesting proposals for the development of forest, range, wildlife, and aquatic resource learning modules that address regional, multi-state, or national topics and/or issues. More detailed topic information can be found on the website below.


Awards will be based on relevance, merit, and quality as well as the equitable distribution of funds across the applicable natural resources, 1862 and 1890 institutions, and geographic considerations.


This grant program will focus on developing scientific and/or issue based interactive, online learning modules dealing with natural resource management. The total amount available in this program for 2004-05 is approximately $60,000. A maximum of $15,000 per module will be awarded.

Deadline:

The Coordinator of the Center must receive all proposals via email by Jan 31, 2005 (12:00 midnight EST) and original hardcopies must be postmarked by this date. See the website for more information. Proposals received after this date will not be considered.
