SREF 2019 Annual Report Now Available
The Southern Regional Extension Forestry has published their 2019 Annual report, which offers a glimpse into the depth and breadth of the office’s productivity, activities, and accomplishments. SREF staff have had a productive and successful year of transitioning leadership that included implementing a new advisory board structure. Work has included activities, services and development of a variety of products that help meet the needs of the Southern Land-grant Universities, the US Forest Service (USFS), and regional partners. This report offers forestry and natural resource professionals from the region and beyond a snapshot of all of these accomplishments, as well as many other things of use, in the pages of this report.
The SREF coordinator, three IT professionals and student workers have maintained a furious pace working collaboratively throughout the calendar year with partners from the Southern Land-grant Universities and the US Forest Service. Throughout this past year, SREF staff have continued to promote communication and collaboration across the region as well as working closely with partners to respond to needs and opportunities, and to collectively deliver professional Extension and educational programs and materials that have measurable impact.
