American Forests 2012 Grants Available for Restoration Tree Planting

American Forests Global ReLeaf programs has grants available for 2012 restoration tree planting projects. The Global ReLeaf grant program provides private dollars to support reforestation efforts and help match other funding sources.

Competitive grants must maximize the use of total project funds per tree planted. Grants are available to support rural seedling projects restoring damaged ecosystems, urban forests and community projects.

The deadline for grant proposals is November 1, 2011.  Only non-profit, community, and government organizations may apply.
