Grant Money Available from the Practicing Foresters Institute

The Practicing Foresters Institute (PFI) is offering Grants up to $2,000 to those recognized and qualified organizations who offer educational programs to the public and/or practicing foresters.

Grant proposals should reflect the principles and objectives of the Practicing Foresters Institute and therefore should:

  • Promote scientifically based forestry principles
  • Develop and strengthen relationships between professional foresters and forest landowners
  • Create solutions to forestry problems through the free-market system
  • Promote the use of consulting foresters

Organizations interested in applying for Grants should review the guidelines for submitting a grant application, criteria for selection of grant proposals, and format for submitting a grant proposal.
Grant guidelines and format can be found at:
http//www.pfitrust.org/index.php/education
Deadline for grant proposals is October 31, 2012.
Contact Colleen Hoffman at info@pfitrust.org with any questions.
