Murphy to join Southern Region's Legacy Program

Mike Murphy will be the new Southern Region's Legacy Program Manager starting in February 2008.

Mike comes most recently from the Chattahoochee NF in North Georgia.  He brings over 20 years experience in lands, planning and natural resource management to the job.  Hes worked in LA, KY, TN, AL, and NC in addition to GA and overseas.  The Southern region is looking forward to his arrival as part of the Coop Forestry Regional Team.  His email is wmurphy@fs.fed.us and he will be at the Legacy phone number, (404) 347-5214 when he reports.
