New Assistant Director for Science Delivery at USDA-Forest Service Southern Research Station Headquarters
Dr. Peter Roussopoulos, USDA FS Southern Research Station recently passed along the following information: "Please join me in congratulating Carol Whitlock, our new Assistant Director for Science Delivery. With over 25 years of experience in research and development communications, Carol brings a wealth of knowledge to the position. Most recently as communications team lead, she has created a team that effectively anticipates and delivers information needed to ensure the sustainability of natural resources in the South. Carol has also increased public and private understanding and support of the Station's research and programs."
The AD for Science Delivery will add a stronger emphasis on science delivery, which is critical to the Station’s overall mission. As an integral component to our executive leadership team, Carol will add value to decision making and to natural resource and research discussions. Additionally, she will provide leadership advice and guidance essential to the long-range planning of the Station’s research and development programs.
