Stephen Pohlman Joins Clemson Extension Forestry Group
Mr Pohlman is a new Forestry / Natural Resource Agent in Edgefield County for Clemson Extension.
He started work with Clemson Extension August 11, 2006 and graduated from Clemson University in May 2001 in Forest Resource Management and a minor in Agricultural Business Management. Stephen co-op’ed with Weyerhaeuser Company in New Bern, NC for one year (1999) with primary duties as a Forest Technician. After graduation he worked for Nolan Services (a herbicide application company in Bishopville, SC) as a Forest Specialist and then moved to upstate SC to work with the hardwood lumber industry with Clendenin Lumber Company while performing jobs on a satellite wood yard and later as a procurement forester.
