Texas A&M AgriLife Research & Extension Center is hosting a Prescribed Burn School. The Prescribed Burn School will follow the Certified and Insured Prescribed Burn Manager 24-hour curriculum developed by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Participants will gain hands-on experience with prescribed fire by participating in fire ignitions, weather measurements, and holding suppression support. The school has two registration options: 1) general registration is $200, 2) the field day and exam only is $100.
