Virginia Cooperative Extension has been offering the Fall Forestry & Wildlife Field Tours for 39 consecutive years - making it the longest running program of its kind in Virginia!
These tours, which are offered each October, involve landowners, state, federal, and forest industry natural resource professionals and representatives of environmental non-governmental agencies. The goals are to inform participants about practical forest and wildlife management techniques which are currently being used in their area, share information on current cost-share programs, and provide networking opportunities with other landowners and natural resource professionals.
