On behalf of the planning committee, we welcome your participation in the forthcoming 8th Southern Forestry and Natural Resources GIS Conference (December 11-13, in Athens, GA). The 8th SOFOR GIS Conference will encompass topics related to the use of GIS and other geospatial technologies in forestry and natural resource management. This year, we plan to expand the "practical" nature of the program and have about a 50/50 mix of these types of presentations and research presentations.
