After the Hunt: Year-Round Wildlife Management
Deer and Turkey Seasons are over, so what do I do with my hunting land until I plant food plots in Fall? If this question has ever crossed your mind, or you would just like to learn more about effective wildlife management techniques, this workshop is targeted for you. 'After the Hunt: Year-round Wildlife Management' will focus on wildlife and forestry management techniques and property enhancements that can be completed between the hunting seasons (April to September). This all day, in-depth workshop will be hosted at the Coffee County Extension Office and cover topics like Summer Forages and Food plots, Forestry Management Practices, Predator Control and Trapping, Roads and Culverts, Invasive Plants and Herbicides, and Camera Surveys. There will also be live demonstrations of some of the techniques discussed in class. Lunch will be provided to attendees, therefore pre-registration is required.
