Benet Bioenergy Network Ltd. is holding their Bioenergy from Forest Conference in Jyväskylä and Jämsä, Finland late August. The Conference will focus on bioenergy-related trends affecting forestry, agriculture, industry and climate. The conference is calling for abstracts for oral and poster presentation.

Conference:

The Bioenergy from Forest Conference will focus on the factors affecting the future of the bioenergy systems, management, total procurement chains, the effects of the energy markets, the influence of green marketing and other trends affecting forestry, agriculture, industry and climate. The conference is comprised of plenary sessions, oral presentations and poster viewing, as well as technical tours and visits to practical bioenergy targets. It is also the site of the International FinnMETKO 2012 Exhibition, the biggest and most important professional and sales exhibition in the field of heavy machinery in Finland. Guests are invited to compare and test drive forestry, earthwork, moving and lifting machine models as well as commercial vehicles available in the Nordic countries in real working conditions. The conference will be presented in English. 

 

Call for Papers:

Papers will be presented in oral and poster sessions and all accepted papers will be published in the Book of Proceedings. Authors wishing to submit a contribution should send an abstract to bioenergy@benet.fi by February 28, 2012. 

Abstracts must: 
 
* be single-spaced
* be written in English
* not exceed one A4 page (up to three explanatory pages may be included to aid reviewers' assessment)
* be sent as a .doc or .pdf file
* adhere to one of the conference topics listed here
 

and should include:

* Applicable topic number (1 to 9, as listed in link above)
* Full title
* Full name and address of one author for all correspondence
* Full name, affiliation, address and phone, fax and/or e-mail of each author and co-author
* Purpose of the work
* Approach
* Scientific innovation and relevance
* Results

* Conclusions

Abstracts with insufficient information will be rejected. Only contributions complying with the above specifications and received by February 28, 2012 will be considered.
