SOFEW 2010 Annual Meeting
The Southern Forest Economics Workers (SOFEW) 2010 annual meeting will be hosted by the Forest Economics and Policy Work Unit, Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service, and will take place at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, North Carolina from Monday evening, March 15 to noon on Wednesday, March 17. The theme of the 2010 Workshop is “New Directions for Southern Forests: Carbon, Energy, and Policy.” Keynote addresses will be presented by Dr. Brian Murray (Duke University), Dr. Robert Abt (North Carolina State University), and Dr. Alan Lucier (National Council for Air and Stream Improvement).
