PennState Extension Urban Tree Tenders Training Series
This program empowers concerned residents to make dramatic strides towards restoring and caring for the tree canopy in their communities. It is designed for community volunteers, municipal arborists, shade tree commissions, and anyone else interested in urban forest care. Since 1993 PHS has trained over 4,500 Tree Tenders in 150 Pennsylvania neighborhoods. ISA Arborist CEUs will be provided for those that attend live sessions. The training on this day is "Caring for Community Trees".
