Subject: Webinar
Description: In this webinar, Dr. Andrew Loyd will discuss beech leaf disease (BLD) biology, impact, and potential management strategies. The American beech (Fagus grandifolia) plays a significant role in many forest ecosystems across the eastern US. It is an economically important, slow growing and shade tolerant tree which adds structural diversity to many forest types, and its nut production makes it a valuable food source for wildlife.
