The College of Forestry at Oregon State University seeks a Department Head for the Forest Engineering, Resources and Management Department. The College of Forestry is one of the world's premier education, research, and outreach institutions. Responsibilities of the Department Head

The Department Head is an innovative leader who guides faculty towards success in teaching, research, and extension; ensures that graduating students are well prepared to enter the workforce or continue their studies; and brings forward an engaged and diverse stakeholder base across the array of disciplines within the department. The Department Head works as a member of the College’s leadership team and is responsible for all aspects of academic program delivery within the Department.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The benefits package includes several options for health/dental/life insurance, retirement, and a program of reduced tuition for dependents.
