Climatelearning.net is the online learning hub for the Climate Learning Network (CLN). Created as part of the CLN's mission to foster climate literacy in the Extension community, the site offer e-learning modules and other educational materials designed to provide Extension professionals working in agriculture and natural resources with the information they need to advise their audiences about techniques for adapting to a changing climate.

A Prescribed Burn at Sandy Creek Nature Center in Athens GA was an outreach success for all involved. The steps that SCNC took to achieve that success will be instructive for future efforts to burn on land reserved for environmental education.

The Report provides a brief summary of what the office of Southern Regional Extension Forestry has accomplished over the past 2 years in partnership with the 13 Southern Land-grant Universities and other natural resource organizations in the Southeastern United States.
Our newest Extension Associate, Dr. David Coyle, discusses the Forest Health and Invasive Species Program that he has initiated under the auspices of SREF and UGA's Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, and the USDA Forest Service. The program will create a template and materials for extension education for southern pine health, primarily focusing on pine stand management to mitigate potential insect and disease issues, as well as for several non-native plants, insects, and pathogens.
