Two Chiefs' Partnership Award

The Forestry and Natural Resources Webinar Portal (, a southern regional, multi-agency product providing education to landowners and natural resource professionals across the nation, is awarded the 2011 Two Chiefs' Partnership Award!


The 2011 Southern Forest Tree Improvement Conference will be held at the Imperial Palace Resort & Spa, Biloxi, MS on June 13-16, 2011.


The conference, co-hosted by the American Forest Foundation (AFF) and the World Resources Institute (WRI), will be held in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina on June 23rd and 24th, 2010.


P. K. Nair, a distinguished professor at the University of Florida's School of Forest Resources and Conservation, will receive the Society of American Foresters' Barrington Moore Memorial Award.


ATLANTA -- John D. Dondero, a veteran of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), has been selected as Director of Cooperative Forestry for the Southern Region, according to Acting Regional Forester Ken Arney.


The 12th Annual Forest Utilization Conference and Equipment Exposition is scheduled for May9 - 11, 2007. Forestry on the Grow -- Exploring Opportunities & New Technologies for Natural Resources Management & the Wood Products Industry -- will be held at Western Hills Guest Ranch in Sequoyah Resort Park near Wagoner, Oklahoma.


The University of Florida and the School of Forest Resources and Conservation invite you to attend the 2008 Working Forests in the Tropics Conference (WFT) held in Gainesville, FL at the J. Wayne Reitz Union, October 5-7.


Industrial forest ownership in the US has seen a dramatic shift. Over the last 25 years, most of the publicly held forest products companies in the U.S. have either sold all, or most of their forestlands, or separated ownership of their forest assets from their manufacturing activities.


The Woods and Wildlife Conference for owners of large and small tracts of land will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Roanoke for individuals, families, managers and interested persons to learn about woods, wildlife and other natural resources. The day will provide participants with multiple links to information, new ideas to implement, and a better understanding of their natural resources.
